Pretty Women – please pose for the camera

On July 4, 2011, in Abstract, Architecture, Gallery, People and Places, by Amiya

I had a pretty packed weekend this time…Two Barbecue parties, movie and lots a sleeping as well. Took some photos while roaming around and caught this lovely snap of a mother asking her lovely daughter to pose for the camera. You can see the sparkle in the face of the sweet girl as she smiles for the camera. One clear advantage of having a 300mm is that it allows you to be so far from the subject that the presence of the observer (aka photographer) never intrudes into the expressions of the subject. I also experimented with HDR and some blurs. Feedback and likes appreciated as always…

BTW: Delhi Belly is awesome…a must watch for every movie buff.

Professional Portrait – using Photoshop

On December 30, 2010, in Gallery, Photoshop, by Amiya

It takes in-depth knowledge of camera parameters like exposure, shutter speed, aperture and so on to get that perfect shot. But with Photoshop you can transform any dull looking average photo to professional looking perfect one.
