Singapore Gardens by the Bay

The newly constructed Gardens by the bay are amazing. The construction is aimed to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. Along with the gardens there are two conservatories – a flower dome and a cloud forest. The place is worth visiting and can be easily reached from Bayfront MRT. Some of the wide angle shots are panoramas.

Night Shots: taken over Henderson waves bridge

Things I learned: when keeping your camera on tripod, switch off image stabilization (IS)!! (when taking long shots on relatively steady situations the IS itself can cause more vibrations than external factors). Also consider using delay shutter and mirror lock to avoid shake caused by hand and reflex action of mirror.
