PhD Nerds – The law of small numbers

On February 23, 2011, in Comics, PhD nerds, by Amiya
An average Indian engineering boy spends quite a lot of time sitting in front of different department gates just to get a glimpse of a hot girl. Well all that time spent would have been a total waste if not for the below graph. The result can help the younger generation (boys) take an informed decision as to which department to choose. Keep in mind, as of 2009 the distributions are NOT valid for any of the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) Click here to see the IIT version of the observations.

Do not agree with the above graph, hot girls in Humanities section cant be plotted in the same graph, I guess we need a log-log scale or a semi-log for that, considering you are including humanities section of not only engineering institutes/premier institutes. 😀
