Macro Photography with a wide lens!

On October 27, 2010, in Abstract, Gallery, by Amiya

For those who have studied optics it may not come as a surprise that a wide angle lens reversed is actually a macro lens. To put that into work I removed my 18-55 kit lens and placed it backwards to take this click. Keep in mind that the depth of field will be incredibly shallow and neither will your aperture control work nor (optical) image stabilization. So have to keep it real steady.

The photo looks like a dance floor, Can you guess what it is?

That's my Seagate 320GB HDD
