Arundhati Roy and Rakhi Sawant – two sides of the same coin

On October 28, 2010, in Blog, Entertainment, Serious, by Amiya
Every time Arundhati Roy's name come up in news I feel disgusted exactly like the times when Rakhi Sawant's name comes up. Given my poor writing skills I thought the best way to express myself will be through a picture.

God was kind enough not to create such a creature.

Macro Photography with a wide lens!

On October 27, 2010, in Abstract, Gallery, by Amiya
For those who have studied optics it may not come as a surprise that a wide angle lens reversed is actually a macro lens. To put that into work I removed my 18-55 kit lens and placed it backwards to take this click. Keep in mind that the depth of… Read the full article

On October 20, 2010, in Abstract, Black and White, Gallery, by Amiya
This shot was taken just near my hostel. The picture didn't look so rusted until I desaturated it. I took it in a way that the fencing looks like a 'Y' as in yes to give a subtle feeling of hope and perseverance. It may not be apparent that the… Read the full article
